“Ramadan is the month in which was sent down the Qur’an as a guide to mankind, also clear (signs) for guidance and judgement (between right and wrong). So everyone of you who is present (at home) during that month should spend it in fasting.”

  1. Is your image that of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan? Sweet. I am a devout follower of Issa (i.e. Jesus Christ), yet have been drawn to sufi literature, lore and music from an early age. I look forward to reading more of your posts.

  2. Indeed it is. I am a huge fan of Nusrat.

Indeed, Sufism is not just for Muslims. It is for all of humanity.

  3. what is the significance of the 30 days of ramadan?

  4. Ramandan is a very important month in the Islamic Calender. Among other things, it is the month in which the Quran was sent down to Mankind. It is the time of month where the devil is shackled and not allowed to roam free and influence people. It is a month where one good deed performed has the potential to be multiplied many times more. It is a month where fasting from dusk til dawn is seen as a form of worship. If you wish to aquire more info on Ramadan, please email me and I will guide you to some good sources.

  5. Sallam, I will like to know the dos and don’t during the month of ramadan. And more lessons from the holy Quaran. Keep on the good work Allah will reward you abundantly
